Round, brass mushroom intake screens are designed to filter or strain the water flowing into the ballast intake through the hull of the boat. These intake grates will fit all bronze Marine Hardware thru-hulls that are used below the water line.

Easily install this upgrade with surface mount fasteners (NOT INCLUDED). These upgrades are available in a range of sizes depending on what mushroom thru-hull intake you have installed.

Fasten the grate with four #10 stainless steel flathead screws.
