Every properly designed ballast system must have a ball valve attached directly to the intake fitting so that the flow of water into the boat can be stopped in the event of an emergency. During normal day-to-day operation you will never need to access this valve if your system is designed correctly (contact us for assistance), it is only used in the event of a broken fitting, hose or pump.

Constructed with a solid bronze body and stainless steel valve assembly, these ball valves are built to last a lifetime, and will not undergo galvanic corrosion like the common brass ball valves available from home improvement centers will. Features standard NPT threads for mating directly to our Thru-Hull Intake or Street Elbow fittings for easy assembly.
